Import PowerPoint presentations into Storyline 360 to leverage existing content. This is a great way to speed up course development, especially when subject matter experts create content for you in a programme they are familiar with (e.g., PowerPoint).
Tip: Most PowerPoint features are supported in Storyline, but some are not. For more information, see this article.
Step 1: In your project, select Import in the top left corner under the File tab, then select PowerPoint.
Step 2: In File Explorer, navigate to the PowerPoint file you want to import and select it.
Step 3: In the Insert Slides window, select all the slides from your PowerPoint that you want to import. All slides are selected by default. At the bottom left under ‘Insert into scene’, you can use the drop-down menu to select whether the imported slides should be inserted into the current scene or into a new scene. Once you have made all the settings, select the ‘Import’ button.
Your PowerPoint slides should now be imported into your project.
Most PowerPoint elements are compatible with Storyline 360 and can be fully edited after import (text fields, animations, object timing, etc.). However, a few options, such as smart objects or morph animations, are not compatible.
