To track learning progress in a Learning Management System (LMS), Storyline 360 projects must be published in the correct format. This guide explains how to prepare your content for SCORM, xAPI (Tin Can), or AICC.
Step 1 – Open the project:
Open your Storyline 360 project.
Step 2 – Choose Publish:
Click on “Publish” and select “LMS”.
Step 3 – Select the output format:
In the “LMS” section, you can choose between SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, AICC, or xAPI. The correct option depends on the requirements of your LMS.
Step 4 – Configure tracking options:
Under “Tracking”, define how learner progress should be recorded, for example by completing a quiz or reaching a specific slide.
Step 5 – Start publishing:
Click “Publish” to create the package. You can then upload the ZIP file to your LMS.
Note:
For detailed information on xAPI implementations in Storyline 360, you can find a comprehensive guide in the Articulate Community: Full Guide to xAPI and Storyline.
